We were introduced to Niner Estate wines a few weeks ago and were so impressed we just had to share them at one of our wine tastings. The winery consists of 223 acres split between three different California vineyards: two in Paso Robles (Heart Hill Vineyard & Bootjack Vineyard) and one in Edna Valley (Jespersen Ranch). A very environmentally friendly winery, they utilize such innovations as gravity flow instead of using pumps, a wine cellar built into the side of a mountain for insulation, 100% solar powered and irrigation from rooftop rainwater collection. And these are just a few of the environmental innovations they utilize. And to top it off, the wine they produce is wonderful.
